Doppler assessment of the uteroplacental and fetal circulation plays an important role in assessment of the fetal condition in pathological pregnancies.
Requirements for certification
The requirements for obtaining the FMF certificate of competence in Doppler ultrasound are:
Attendance of the FMF internet based theoretical course on antenatal surveillance.
The full FMF certificate in Doppler ultrasound will be awarded only to candidates who have successfully completed the two year FMF clinical fellowship or provided a satisfactory proof of practical assessment (awarded on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the FMF).
